IT Specialist
Full-time on-site / hybrid
We are seeking an IT Specialist to work on-site or in a hybrid arrangement across our two locations. This role will manage infrastructure, support large storage solutions, and maintain server stability, helping our creative teams achieve efficient and reliable workflows. Previous experience with VFX production environments, storage systems, and professional video/audio equipment is a strong asset.
What you’ll do:
• Provide on-site or hybrid support across both locations, maintaining and troubleshooting a mixed Mac, Linux, and Windows environment with 40+ workstations.
• Manage storage solutions and server infrastructure, ensuring uptime, backups, and data integrity.
• Support professional video and audio workflows, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of media equipment.
• Collaborate with VFX and production teams to optimize technology for VFX workflows, including software and hardware configurations.
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure upgrades to support evolving project needs and standards.
Maintain network health and security, performing regular updates, configurations, and monitoring.
You bring:
• Proven experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a VFX, Audio or media production environment.
• Strong understanding of large-scale storage solutions (e.g., SAN/NAS) and server management.
• Proficiency in managing a cross-platform environment (Mac, Linux, Windows).
• Experience with video and audio workflows and equipment.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and best practices.
• Ability to work on-site across two locations or in a hybrid setup, depending on operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in VFX, post-production, audio post production or media environments.
• Familiarity with software and hardware commonly used in media production (e.g., Nuke, Protools, After Effects, Autodesk Maya).
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Production Coordinator
Full time on-site
We’re seeking a highly organized Production Coordinator to support our team across commercial VFX projects. This role works closely with the Head of VFX, Producers, and Compositing Artists to ensure projects stay on schedule and creatively aligned.
What you’ll do:
• Coordinate day-to-day workflows for the Compositing team across multiple active projects
• Track and communicate shot progression, deadlines, and client feedback to internal teams
• Partner with the Head of VFX on artist resourcing and workload planning
• Anticipate busy periods and coordinate freelance comp artist needs
• Shadow Producers and monitor projects at all stages, stepping in to assist as needed
• Manage and optimize project management tools (i.e. Kitsu, Linear, Slack); liaise with product teams to resolve issues and continuously improve workflows
• Support scope tracking, project documentation, and quality checks when needed
• Work closely with Studio Manager to oversee and track software license renewals (Nuke, Autodesk, Adobe, etc.)
• Assist with website uploads for recently completed work
• Work closely with Studio Manager to continue research and support in pipeline workflows and efficiencies
You bring:
• Enthusiasm & positivity for the craft, industry and working within a team
• 1+ years of experience in VFX or production coordination
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field
• Strong understanding of VFX pipelines and/or the advertising industry (an asset)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
